The Business of Consumer Electronics

  Jason Oxman, Sr. VP of industry affairs for the Consumer Electronics Association, discusses his role among the 2,200 member businesses whose products can be found in practically every room in every American home, as well as our cars, trucks, buses, planes and trains.

Jason Oxman is senior vice president of industry affairs for the Consumer Electronics Association. A seasoned veteran of technology and policy for over a decade, Oxman has served the federal government and private sector as a technology expert and communications strategist. At CEA, he oversees four departments with a combined staff of 50 professionals in the communications, member relations, market research, and strategic relations departments. As a senior executive at CEA, Oxman is responsible for developing and overseeing implementation of strategies for CEA’s portfolio of technology issues.

Jason Oxman's talk, titled "The Great Transition," was recorded May 10, 2011 at the MPBN Ladd Studio in Lewiston as a part of the quarterly MPBN Board of Trustees Meeting. Jason Oxman is the son of MPBN's Director of Auction Margie Oxman.
