The federal government reports that wages in Cumberland County rose 3.9 percent from March 2017 to March of this year. That ranked Cumberland County 93 on a list of the 350 largest counties in the United States.The wage growth was higher than the national average of 3.7 percent and slightly higher than the statewide average of 3.6 percent.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics says the average weekly wage in Cumberland County was $1,055 in March of this year.
