Former President H.W. Bush is headed back to Maine, says family spokesperson Jim McGrath.

McGrath says the 41st president is looking forward to getting to Maine next week, and having a great summer with family and friends. The elder Bush has visited Walker's Point, the family compound in Kennebunkport, every summer of his life – with one exception: 1944, the year he served as a Navy pilot and was shot down over the Pacific.

Bush's wife Barbaradied last month, and he was recently released from a Houston hospital. He turns 94 in less than one month.
