Maine's congressional delegation is forcefully denouncing pipe bombs and suspicious packages sent to prominent Democrats.

Republican Sen. Susan Collins, who faced her own scare with a letter that claimed to contain ricin, said there's "no place in our society for threats or harassment against anyone."

Independent Sen. Angus King said it's okay to have political differences but that "this kind of thing is just outside the realm of what America's all about."

Democratic Rep. Chellie Pingree, who was threatened in 2014 along with President Barack Obama, said such actions "have no place in our democracy." And Republican Rep. Bruce Poliquin said the threats have "no place in our politics or discourse."

Packages have been sent to Obama, former his Vice President Joe Biden, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and others.
