Maine reports 754 new coronavirus cases, 3 deaths on Thursday

A worker at a gift shop regulated the number of customers allowed in the store due to the coronavirus pandemic, Thursday, July 30, 2020, in Portland, Maine. State officials reported more cases of COVID-19.

Maine is reporting another 754 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The seven-day average of new cases is now 553, up from 490 one week earlier.

The Maine CDC says three additional people have died from the disease.

On Wednesday, 229 people were hospitalized with COVID-19, including 69 in critical care and 29 on ventilators.
