The federal Bureau of Labor Statistics says unemployment in Bangor fell from 2.7% to 2.6%. Lewiston-Auburn's jobless rate went from 3.1% to 2.9%.
Portland-South Portland's unemployment rate was steady at just 2.3%. The unemployment rates in all three areas were lower this March than in March of last year.
