Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce is presenting Our First Annual Central Maine BBQ Cook -Off Competition on June 19 & 20th, 2021. This event will be held at the Skowhegan State Fairgrounds in Skowhegan, Maine. This event is open to all BBQ masters of all levels! KCBS and SCA Judging classes available. These two days are open for general public to enjoy/ $5.00 a carload. KCBS Cook OFF, Kids Q- Burger, Backyard (Amateur). Lots of food, family activities, food trucks, vendors and more!

The Skowhegan Memorial Day Parade is back this year at 10:00 AM on Memorial Day. Rain or Shine. Line up on Dyer Street at 9:30. Parade route will begin at the intersection of Dyer Street and Madison Avenue and turn left heading south towards downtown Skowhegan, then left onto Water Street ending at Skowhegan Veterans Park.
