The Bangor Public Library and SCORE Northern Maine will host an information session on Better Business Bureau resources for business owners, in the Board Room at the Bangor Public Library on Wednesday, November 17, from 12:00-1:00 PM. The session will also be available to attend virtually via Zoom. In-person attendees will be required to wear masks at all times. Danielle Bass, Community Relations Supervisor for Better Business Bureau serving Eastern MA, ME, RI & VT, will share “BBB101,” a presentation on the history, vision and mission of your local Better Business Bureau. Along with many other free resources, BBB offers Small Business Startup Help and business profiles. Danielle will go over how businesses can use these free resources to advance their goals. Also covered will be tips on how to avoid scams, and helpful hints on cybersecurity.
