Collage and Card-Making Workshop with Argy Nestor at Gibbs Library
Gibbs Library in Washington, Maine, is excited to announce a free collage and card-making workshop with celebrated artist and award-winning teacher Argy Nestor. The workshop, Discover Your Superpower: Hand-made Cards, will be held in the Bryant Room on Thursday, December 11th, from 6-8pm. Registration is required. Email Delphine at runedoggy@gmail.com to register. Open to adults & teens.
In this collage-art workshop, participants will use images and text from magazines, pages from discarded books, and even bits of junk mail to create cards that will delight family and friends. No experience is necessary! These make wonderful gifts! Though not a requirement, if you have photographs, magazines, or other papers you’d like to incorporate, bring them to class to use in your artistic creations.
Class size is limited. This is a FREE workshop, but registration is required (to prepare materials and provide snacks). This class will fill up quickly!
