The Westerlies are a New York-based brass quartet known for blending jazz, classical, and folk with warmth and creativity. Described by The New York Times as “an arty quartet… mixing ideas from jazz, new classical, and Appalachian folk,” they bring both precision and energy to their performances.

Their program includes traditional hymns, original works by members Andy Clausen and Chloe Rowlands, and new arrangements of pieces by Caroline Shaw and John Prine.
