BLAINE, Maine - Police say they made a third arrest in connection to a shooting in northern Maine.The Aroostook County Sheriff's Department received a tip that led to the arrest of 44-year-old Jason Alexander around 6 p.m. Sunday in Blaine.
Police identified Alexander and 31-year-old Jomo White as primary suspects in a Presque Isle shooting on Sept. 9. White, of Atlanta, was arrested Tuesday and being held on felony charges of attempted murder, elevated aggravated assault and reckless conduct with a firearm.
Police say a third person, Brittany Britton, was charged with elevated aggravated assault and aggravated reckless conduct with a firearm. Jail officials couldn't say whether they had attorneys.
The Bangor Daily News reports the victim is in intensive care; his identity has not been released.
