The Maine CDC added 220 cases of COVID-19 to the state's total on Sunday. That's after adding just 23 cases of the disease on Saturday.

No deaths related to the disease were added Sunday, but the agency did report a fatality Saturday, in a man in his 60s from Kennebec County.

In total, 11,508 Mainers have been diagnosed with COVID-19; of those, 191 have died and 8,952 have recovered, leaving 2,365 active cases.

The Maine CDC will next brief the public on the pandemic at 2 p.m. Monday. Tune in live on Maine Public Radio, TV and online.
