The Maine CDC has reported eleven more deaths related to COVID-19 on Saturday.

The agency also added 402 cases of the disease. That was slightly less than the state's 7-day average case increase of 446, but higher than the average of 367 daily cases since the start of December.

Since Dec. 1, Maine has added 6,982 cases of the disease — more than 37% of the state's total of 18,739 — and 98 deaths, nearly exactly a third of all the state's 292 deaths since March.

As of Friday morning, 177 Mainers were hospitalized with COVID-19, with 46 in critical care and 15 on ventilators.
