7 Deaths, 590 COVID-19 Cases Added Tuesday

The Maine Center for Disease Control is reporting an increase of 590 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. Seven more people have died with the disease.

Just under 23,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Maine since the start of the pandemic. As of Monday morning, 17,000 Mainers have received the coronavirus vaccine.

Maine Public Radio, Television and online will all carry the Maine CDC’s next briefing, expected Wednesday afternoon.

Correction: 590 COVID-19 cases, not deaths, were added in Maine on Tuesday.
