Maine reports 27 deaths and 1,286 new coronavirus cases on Thursday

Maine is reporting 1,286 new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday. The seven-day average of new infections is now 1,048.

The state CDC is reporting 27 additional deaths from the disease.

On Wednesday, a record 380 people in Maine were hospitalized with COVID-19. 122 were in critical care and 60 were on ventilators.
