2 deaths and 1,367 new COVID cases reported in Maine on Friday

Maine is reporting 1,367 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

But the state CDC warns that there are probably more cases that aren't being counted during the omicron surge.

Two additional deaths of people with COVID-19 are also being reported.

There are 422 people hospitalized with the disease in Maine. One hundred and four are in critical care. Fifty-five are on ventilators.
