The number of Mainers hospitalized with COVID dropped by almost 20 on Tuesday, to 184.
That's 47 fewer patients than one week ago, when hospitalizations hit a recent high of 231.
Twenty patients are in critical care and two are on ventilators on Tuesday.
The state CDC is reporting one additional COVID death today and 836 new infections detected through laboratory testing.
