Maine Lit Fest

The Maine Lit Fest is a statewide celebration of books, stories, and community that features 50+ celebrated and emerging writers, poets, and illustrators from Maine and beyond at 20+ conversations and events over eleven days across multiple Maine towns and cities including Farmington, Portland, Brunswick, Waterville, Bangor, and Presque Isle, and online.
Maine Public is very pleased to be one of the media sponsors for this experience.
Some of the headlining authors and illustrators include Lynda Barry, John Cariani, Peter Brown, Steph Cha, Marjorie Liu, Melissa Febos, Franny Choi, Morgan Talty, Michael Paterniti, Paul Tremblay, Diannely Antigua, and Pulitzer Prize-winner Viet Thanh Nguyen.
All events are free except for the Author's Reception on October 12 at Rines Auditorium at the Portland Public Library and An Evening with Viet Thanh Nguyen also on October 12 at the John Ford Auditorium at Portland High School.
