BETHEL, Maine (AP) _ Police say a New Hampshire man has died in a motorcycle crash in western Maine.
Oxford County Sheriff Wayne Gallant says 43-year-old Timothy Diagle, of New Boston, New Hampshire, was operating his motorcycle west on Route 2 in Bethel at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday when he was struck by a car driven by a New Jersey man.
Diagle died at the scene. His passenger, 50-year-old Patricia Ensigh, also of New Boston, New Hampshire, was taken to Rumford Hospital and was later flown to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
The driver of the car and his passenger suffered minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
