Police Identify Victims in Dedham, Maine Crash

DEDHAM, Maine (AP) _ Police say the three people killed in a Dedham car accident are from Maine and Des Moines, Iowa.
 
    Police identified the three victims are 85-year-old Richard Olson of Ellsworth, 32-year-old Phillip Carter of Bangor and 25-year-old Roxanne Papken of Bangor. Police say Olson is also from Des Moines.
 
    Olson's vehicle crossed the center line and struck Carter's truck head-on just before 6 p.m. Tuesday. Papken was a passenger in Carter's truck.
 
    Police say Olson was traveling toward Ellsworth and they have not determined why he crossed the center line.   Route 1A traffic reopened at about 11 p.m. after the accident shut it down.
