BUCKSPORT, Maine (AP) _ Authorities say rescue crews in Bucksport have recovered the bodies of a man and a boy who fell in the Penobscot River.
Reports from rescue workers at the scene say the man and boy were sitting on a dock Friday morning when they fell in the water. WZON-AM reports the man's body was found Friday afternoon. It's unclear if the boy was found dead or if he died at the hospital.
Authorities declined to identify the man and boy pending notification of next of kin.
Rescue boats from several towns searched the waters near Verona Island Bridge for the man. Divers and a search plane were also on the scene.
