LONG ISLAND, Maine - State police are investigating the discovery of a body in the driveway of a home on an island town off of Portland.
Police say two men found the body of a man in his 50s on Wednesday morning on Long Island. State police later identified the man as 59-year-old lobsterman Steven Michael Hanson. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
State police say they are classifying the nature of the death as "unexplained'' pending more investigation.
Police say Hanson's family has been notified. They say the driveway where he was found was outside his own home.
