Connecticut Woman Killed In Snowmobile Crash In Maine
SOLON, Maine - The Maine Warden Service says a Connecticut woman was killed when her snowmobile crashed at the edge of a frozen pond, ejecting her from the machine.
Wardens identified the victim of the Saturday night crash as 43-year-old Michelle Pavia, of Stamford, Connecticut.
Wardens said she was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene in Solon, Maine. They said speed and operator inexperience were likely factors.
