Gov. Janet Mills is dedicating the Blaine House holiday display of lights and trees to the people of Maine in a challenging year.

She announced on Thursday that this year’s theme is “A Celebration of Resilience” and pays special tribute to the frontline workers and those who have lost their lives to the coronavirus pandemic.

The display includes 14 trees donated by members of the Maine Christmas Tree Growers Association, which were decorated by a number of organizations and state departments.

The public may view the display at any time from Capitol Street, following public health precautions.
