Bangor police and Maine's Department of Health and Human Services are investigating a child death.
According to the police department, a child was brought to a local hospital on Sunday morning with life-threatening injuries. The child succumbed to their injuries that night.
Bangor police say no more information is available as they continue to investigate the incident.
