3 Deaths, 283 COVID-19 Cases Added In Maine On Saturday

The Maine CDC is reporting three deaths related to COVID-19 on Saturday.

The agency is also adding 283 cases of the disease to the state's total.

In all, 227 Mainers have died with the disease, and 13,127 cases have been diagnosed.

In a press release, the CDC says the deaths reported Saturday were in a man in his 70s from Waldo County, a woman in her 80s from Androscoggin County and a woman in her 70s from York County.

As of Friday, 164 people were recieving inpatient care for COVID-19, with 45 in critical care and 17 on ventilators.
