4 Deaths, 56 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Maine

The Maine Center for Disease Control is reporting four new deaths of patients who had COVID-19, and an additional 56 cases in the state.

The disease continues to take its toll on older Mainers. The deaths involve a woman in her 90s from Cumberland County, a woman in her 50s from York County, a woman in her 60s from Cumberland County and a man in his 70s, also from Cumberland County.

The latest numbers bring the state’s total cumulative cases to 2,282.

In all, 1,505 people have recovered from COVID-19, while 89 people have died.
