407 COVID-19 Cases, No Deaths Reported In Maine On Thursday

New cases of COVID-19 in Maine have again topped 400. The state CDC reported 407 new cases on Thursday.

No new deaths have been added, holding that total at 246.

The number of people hospitalized with the disease has been 170 or above this week.

Three health care systems, Northern Light Health, Central Maine Healthcare and MaineGeneral Health launched a campaign Wednesday urging the public to do more to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Leaders say if more isn’t done, hospitals could become overwhelmed by Christmastime.
