CDC Reports 25 New Cases Of COVID-19, No New Deaths

The Maine Center for Disease Control reported 2938 number of Coronavirus cases Saturday, an increase of 25 from the day before.

No new deaths were reported Saturday. The number of deaths related to COVID-19 in the state stands at 102.

On Monday of this week, Gov. Janet Mills announced that the administration would relax some restrictions on businessesin Androscoggin, Cumberland and York counties,  following a plateauing of new COVID-19 cases.

Around the country, some reopening  states have seen an increased number of outbreaks of COVID-19, especially among young adults.
