CONCORD, N.H. - Gasoline prices are still on the rise in northern New England. In Maine, prices last week rose 3.7 cents per gallon, to $2.54. In New Hampshire, prices have gone up 4.4 cents, to $2.47 per gallon. In Vermont, prices rose 5.2 cents per gallon, averaging $2.56.
The national average is up 22.2 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 2.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
