FRYEBURG, Maine (AP) _ Scientists and state agriculture officials want Mainers to come learn about weeds and pests at a fair where the theme is all about invasive species.
The Saco River Recreation Council is hosting the ``All Things Invasive'' fair on Saturday in Fryeburg.
Officials with Maine's Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry will make a presentation about invasive forest pests. Biologists will educate attendees about invasive aquatic and terrestrial plants, such as Japanese knotweed.
The event will be held at the Swans Falls Campground in Fryeburg starting at 9 a.m. Everyone who participates will receive a small tree to take home.
