Maine CDC: 18 More COVID-19 Cases, No New Deaths

The Maine CDC is reporting 18 additional cases of COVID-19 in the state on Saturday.

That brings the total number of Mainers diagnosed with the disease to 5,486.

No new deaths were reported — that number holds steady at 142.

In total, 4,763 Mainers have recovered from the disease, leaving 581 active cases.

The CDC is next expected to brief the public on the pandemic at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6.
