Maine CDC Reports 28 Additional Cases Of COVID-19

State health officials are reporting no new deaths in Maine Sunday related to COVID-19. That leaves the total number of deaths in the state related to the disease at 64.

In its daily update, the Maine Center for Disease Control is reporting 28 new cases, bringing the total of confirmed and presumptive cases to 1436. There are 36 people currently hospitalized in Maine due to COVID-19.

To date, nine of Maine's 16 counties have recorded no deaths from COVID-19.

The CDC says a total of 861 Mainers have recovered from the disease.
