Maine CDC Reports 44 New Cases Of COVID-19

The state CDC has reported 5,079 cases of COVID-19 since March.

There are 44 new cases of COVID-19 in Maine.

That's according to datafrom the Maine Center for Disease Control. No new deaths were reported Sunday.

There are now 576 active cases in the state. Sixteen people with the disease are currently being hospitalized. Four of those individuals are in critical care and one is on a ventilator. 

The next Maine CDC briefing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
