Maine-based payment technology company WEX Inc. is reporting significant growth over the past year.
The payment processing company says its revenues have grown 18 percent since the third quarter of last year.
"WEX is positioned well for a long runway and future value creation,” says WEX’s CEO Melissa Smith.
Smith told investors on a conference call that new acquisitions and contracts with several federal agencies and companies contributed to the company's growth.
"Building off of an impressive first nine months of the year, we expect the momentum to continue into the fourth quarter and we expect a strong close to 2018,” says Smith.
