Maine Drug Agents Arrest Four in Winthrop Heroin Bust

WINTHROP, Maine_ Police say they've taken three Mainers and one Connecticut man into custody and charged them with trafficking heroin through Kennebec County.

In custody are Michelle St. Laurent, 28, of Winthrop; Tyrone Lindsay, 20, of Waterbury, Connecticut; Daniel Ackerly, 30, and Frederick Werner, 59, both of Winthrop.

Investigators say they confiscated 76 grams of heroin, along with approximately $2400 in  cash. The street value of the heroin allegedly seized was $15,000.
