Maine Launches Support Line For COVID-19 First Responders

Maine has launched a toll-free telephone support service, or “warmline,” to help frontline workers manage the emotional challenges of responding to COVID-19.

The so-called FrontLine WarmLine is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week for doctors, nurses, emergency responders, law enforcement and others who are providing direct response to the pandemic.

It is staffed by volunteers and is a joint effort of state agencies and mental health organizations.

You can call the warmline at 207-221-8196 or 866-367-4440.
