John CarianiTony Award-nominated actor and accomplished playwright best known for his roles on NBC's "Law & Order." His best known play, “Almost Maine,” has been translated into nearly a dozen languages and is currently playing at Portland Stage. Cariani is back in Maine to star in his own play as part of the theater’s celebration of Maine’s Bicentennial. Cariani grew up in Presque Isle.

Monica Woodauthor of 6 novels, including the bestseller and multiple-award winning "When We Were the Kennedys" and two plays, the most recent of which, "Half Light," premiered at Portland Stage Company last year. Wood grew up in Mexico, Maine.

Brent Askariactor, playwright, screenwriter, novelist and member of the company at Mad Horse Theatre in Portland. His play "American Underground" was recently staged by the Barrington Theatre Company.
