Maine Reports 53 More Cases Of COVID-19, No New Deaths

Another 53 cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed in Maine overnight, bringing the total number of cases since the outbreak's onset to 3,070. The death tally remains at 103.That's according to new figures the Maine Center for Disease Control released Thursday. Forty-four of the new cases were diagnosed in Cumberland County.

A total of 2,512 people have recovered from the virus, leaving 455 active cases in Maine, 31 more than Wednesday. 

The cumulative total of people hospitalized at some point during their illness is 343, an increase of four since Wednesday. Twenty-six remain in the hospital, 12 in intensive care. Six people are on ventilators.
