Memorial for Another Maine Crew Member Aboard El Faro

PORT CLYDE, Maine - Another memorial is being held for a Mainer who was a crew member on a cargo ship that sank in Hurricane Joaquin.

The service for Danielle Randolph was being held Thursday at Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde a day after a service for another crew member, Michael Holland, in Jay.

Randolph, Holland and three other Maine Maritime Academy graduates were among 33 people on board the El Faro cargo ship when it departed from Florida on Sept. 29.

The El Faro lost power and went down east of the Bahamas on Oct. 1 while attempting to outrun Hurricane Joaquin on its regular route from Jacksonville to Puerto Rico.
