Nov. 15: A Look At Two Of Maine's Biggest Election Battles And The Impeachment Inquiry

It's Friday and time again for Maine’s Political Pulse, this week with Irwin Gratz, Mal Leary and Steve Mistler.

We talk a lot on the podcast about candidates, but one of Maine's biggest election battles next year is likely to be over a power line — specifically the power line that Central Maine Power wants to build to bring Quebec hydropower across western Maine to Massachusetts. Opponents are gathering signatures to force a referendum that would block the project.

We'll also check in on the race for U.S. Senate and what the impeachment inquiry could mean for politicians running in 2020.
