WINTERPORT, Maine - Maine State Police say they've identified two of three men suspected of robbing a Winterport man of his medical marijuana last week.
Authorities say they're looking for Jeffrey Hurd, 47, and Scott Roberts, 35, both of Glenburn. Both men are considered armed and dangerous.
The men were identified after police released surveillance photos of them on the victim's property, and received more than three dozen tips from the public.
Hurd, who troopers say brandished a handgun during the robbery, is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall. Roberts is 5 feet 11 inches tall. Both men weigh more than 200 pounds. Officials say they were wearing police-like clothing when they robbed marijuana plants from the property.
Authorities are asking anyone with information on the two men's whereabouts to call State Police in Augusta. Both men are facing robbery and police impersonation charges.
Officials were unable to identify a third man involved in the robbery from surveillance photos, and no arrest warrant has yet been issued for him.
