A third person in Maine has tested presumptive positive for COVID-19.
According to the Maine Center for Disease Control, the Cumberland county woman in her 40s is a close household contact of another individual who has tested presumptive positive.
Public health officials say there are also three preliminary presumptive positive cases, including the one announced on Friday. The results came from a lab affiliated with MaineHealth and are under review by the Maine CDC.
The cases in Maine found to be presumptive positive have yet to be confirmed by the U.S. CDC .
