Waterville Girl Injured In Drive-By Shooting Discharged From Hospital

A seven-year-old Waterville girl injured in a drive-by shooting nearly a week ago has left the Portland hospital where she had been treated, and is heading back to Waterville.

Emahleeah Frost was shot in the back Friday afternoon while having a snack in her bedroom. The Morning Sentinel is reporting that the family will not be returning to that apartment. The girl's mother told the paper that her daughter doesn't want to go back there, and that the family will be staying in a hotel for a week while they find a place to live.
