Dave Boardman teaches Mass Media Communications at Mid-Maine Technical Center in Waterville and works for Maine Public as the Maine Education Project’s program coordinator. Dave and his wife, Shirley Brook, adopted their children, Van, Sophie, and Cooper, in Cambodia from 1998 to 2000, and have lived in Oakland for nearly 25 years. Their children are now college students, and Dave took Sophie back to visit her homeland for the first time in the summer of 2016. He will return this summer with their oldest son, Van to explore more of the country of his birth.

Grammy award-winning conductor/composer Lucas Richman has served as Music Director for the Bangor Symphony Orchestra since 2010 and held the position as Music Director for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra from 2003-2015. He has appeared as guest conductor with numerous orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Oslo Philharmonic, and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. As a composer, Mr. Richman's music has been performed by over two hundred orchestras across the United States including the New York Philharmonic and the Boston Pops. He has fulfilled commissions for numerous organizations including the symphonies of Pittsburgh, San Diego and Knoxville; 2015 saw the Albany Records release of a critically-acclaimed CD featuring the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performing three compositions including his "Concerto for Piano and Orchestra: In Truth."

Jack Riddle grew up in the New York City area attending public schools there and and later graduating from the University of Michigan. A retired businessman, he and his wife Bonnie moved to Maine in 1980. He has always been a devotee of music first as a student, then as an instrumentalist, then as a volunteer and organizer. He was president of the Portland Symphony 1989-1991 and co-founded Opera Maine (formerly Portopera) in 1995. He has served on the board of Opera Maine over its 23 year history.

Ed Rice, of Orono and St. Andrews, New Brunswick, is a former newspaper reporter, newspaper editor and college instructor, and the author of Baseball's First Indian, a biography of Maine's Louis Sockalexis. An avid long distance runner who completed 27 marathons, Rice created Bangor’s popular Terry Fox 5K Run in 1982 and directed the charity event for over 20 years, a tribute run which raised over $125,000 for local breast cancer research in Maine, principally at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Prior to joining the MSMT management team in 2013, he appeared on the Pickard stage for six seasons as an actor, including roles as Javert in Les Misérables; The Beast in Beauty and the Beast; Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone; Franz in The Producers; Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar; The UPS Man in Legally Blonde; and Harold Hill in The Music Man.
