Nurses in Maine face many challenges as well as opportunities. We’ll hear from nurse leaders in the state about current nursing workforce challenges and what’s being done to address them. We’ll also discuss the evolution of the nursing profession, such as the contemporary focus on disease prevention, the rigor of nursing education, and the expertise nurses use alongside advanced technology.
