Mainers will experience some exceptionally hot and uncomfortable weather this weekend, especially in the south and southwestern parts of the state.

With temperatures expected to hit the 90s this weekend, the Maine Center for Disease Control is reminding the public to watch for signs of heat illness this weekend, especially among adults age 65 and older, the population that is hospitalized most for heat-related illnesses.
