Republican Second District Congressperson Bruce Poliquin is urging Mainers who disagree with Nike's decision to use former NFL player Colin Kaepernick in its new ad campaign to vote with their dollars — and their feet.

AUGUSTA, Maine - Maine Gov. Paul LePage is urging the commissioner of the NFL to team up with the nation's governors to tackle the problem of domestic violence.

In a letter to Roger Goodell last week, LePage said that the NFL should create a coalition of team owners and governors to turn the "national spotlight on this reprehensible crime.''

Maine U.S. Sen. Susan Collins is among 15 women senators urging NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to institute a "zero-tolerance" policy for domestic violence.

In a letter to Goodell today, the senators said the league needs to send a strong message that domestic violence won't be tolerated.
