Bangor Police Arrest Man Accused Of Stalking Minor

Bangor Police have arrested a 46-year-old man who allegedly made several attempts to contact a minor child.Police say Brian Mcdonald is a transient who recently moved to Bangor from out of state. According to authorities, on Sunday afternoon a local family reported that their child was being followed by a man later identified as Mcdonald. He was arrested and taken to the Penobscot County Jail.

He's been charged with Class D Stalking.

Bangor Police say that, based on Mcdonald's criminal history, the charge against him might be elevated.
