The Maine CDC is reporting 259 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. That’s up from the 189 cases announced Sunday, but still lower than daily cases reported last week, which reached above 600 for several days.

Three more people have died, bringing the state’s pandemic toll to 547.

The total number of vaccine doses administered is now above 110,000. More than 87,000 people have received their first dose.
